Reply to Google reviews

Answer your Google reviews without leaving Utopia. Your reply shows on Google under your business's name.

Before you start

• Connect Google first: see Connect Google reviews.
• Only people who can change business settings (owners and admins, unless you changed the roles) can reply or change EDEN replies.

Steps

1. Go to Marketing → Reviews. Tap Not replied to see only reviews with no answer.
2. Find the review and tap Reply. Or tap Draft with EDEN and EDEN writes one for you.
3. Read it and change anything you want.
4. Tap Post reply. It shows on Google in a few minutes.

To change a reply, tap the … next to it, then Edit reply. To take it down, tap Delete reply. The review itself stays.

EDEN replies

EDEN replies is on when you connect Google (EDEN must be on your plan). Each time Utopia checks Google:

• A new 4- or 5-star review gets EDEN's reply, posted for you. It shows EDEN replied.
• A new 1- to 3-star review gets a draft, not a post. Tap Check and post, change anything, then tap Post reply.

Reviews that were there before you connected are never answered automatically. To stop it, switch off EDEN replies on the Reviews page; Draft with EDEN still works.

To teach EDEN how you sound, write Your reply guide in the same card (tone, what to mention, how to sign off) and tap Save guide. Utopia's rules still come first: EDEN never offers anything for a review and never argues.

Good to know

• Never offer a discount or gift for a review, or for changing one. Google can remove reviews and listings for that.
• EDEN drafts and replies use a few EDEN credits each.

Didn't work?

I don't see the Reply button

Your role can't change business settings. Ask an owner or admin.

It says Google signed this connection out

Go to Settings → Connected apps → Google Business Profile and tap Reconnect.

EDEN didn't answer a new review

EDEN answers up to 5 new reviews per check; the rest wait for the next one. Without EDEN on your plan, or with no credits left, new reviews wait for you.
