Connect Google reviews

Connect your Google Business Profile (your business listing on Google Maps and Search) and Utopia shows your Google star rating and your recent reviews in one place. Utopia only reads your reviews. It never changes anything on Google.

Before you start

• Only owners and admins can connect Google. Everyone else sees "Ask an owner or admin to change this."
• Google has to approve every app that reads Business Profiles. While Google is still approving Utopia, the page shows Waiting on Google and the connect button is grayed out. There's nothing you need to do. The button turns on once Google says yes.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Connected apps. On your phone, tap More, then Settings, then Connected apps.
2. Tap Google Business Profile.
3. Tap Connect Google Business.
4. On Google's page, sign in with the Google account that manages your Business Profile, and allow access.
5. If you manage more than one location, tap Use this location next to the one for this business.
6. Go to Marketing → Reviews to see your rating and reviews.

Read your reviews

Marketing → Reviews shows your Google rating and review count (straight from Google), your Last review, and your recent reviews, newest first. Google lets apps keep reviews for 30 days, so older ones drop off here but stay on Google. Utopia checks Google for new reviews every 30 minutes. Tap Refresh to check right now. To reply to a review, use Google.

Didn't work?

The Connect Google Business button is grayed out

Google hasn't approved Utopia's access yet. Your page says Waiting on Google. You don't need to do anything; come back and connect once the button turns on.

It says Choose a location

You signed in, but Utopia doesn't know which listing is yours. Open Settings → Connected apps → Google Business Profile and tap Use this location next to the right one.

It says Needs attention

Google signed Utopia out. Tap Reconnect and sign in with Google again.

I want to stop showing my reviews

Tap Disconnect on the Google Business Profile page. Utopia stops checking and removes the saved reviews. Your reviews on Google don't change.
