Set your booking hours and service area

Your booking page only offers times when you are open, and only takes addresses inside your service area. Set these once and Utopia does the checking for you.

Before you start

Only owners and admins can change these settings.

Set your hours

1. Go to Settings → Online booking.
2. Find Hours. Turn each day on or off with its switch.
3. For each open day, set the time you open and the time you close.

These are the same hours your Calendar settings use.

Set when people can book

1. Find Availability.
2. Under Offer a start time every, pick 15 minutes, 30 minutes or Hour.
3. Set Jobs at the same time. This is how many crews or bays you run.
4. Set Gap between jobs (minutes) for travel or clean-up time.
5. Set Book at least (hours ahead) and Book up to (days ahead).
6. Under Days off, pick the first and last day, type a reason if you want, and tap Add.
7. Turn on Same-day booking if customers can book for today.

Set your service area

1. Find Service area.
2. Pick Anywhere, Within a distance or ZIP codes.
3. For Within a distance, type the address you travel From and how many Miles.
4. For ZIP codes, type your ZIP codes and tap Add.
5. Type a Message for addresses outside it.
6. If customers can drop off at your shop, turn on Customers can also come to your shop and type your Shop address.
7. Tap Save changes.

Didn't work?

It says closing must be after opening

Check the hours for that day. The close time must be later than the open time.

It can't find the "From" address on the map

Type the full address with city and state, then save again.

A customer near me can't book

Check your miles or ZIP list. The distance is counted from your From address. See Why can't my customer book?.
