Add your services and prices (by vehicle size)

Your service menu is the list of what you sell. Each service can have a different price for a sedan, an SUV or a truck. Jobs, quotes and your booking page all use this menu.

A new business starts with an empty menu, so you add your own services and prices. Your services on Getting started takes you here and gets its check mark once you save your first service.

Steps

1. Go to Services. On your phone, tap More, then Services.
2. Tap New service.
3. Under Service, type the Name, like Full Detail. Pick a Category, or type a new one.
4. Add a Short description and What's included. Customers see these on your booking page.
5. Under Price and time, pick By vehicle size. Utopia starts you with Sedan, SUV and Truck / XL.
6. Type a price and a time on each size's row, like $265 and 2h 30m.
7. Tap Other size to add another size. Tap the X on a row to remove a size.
8. If every vehicle costs the same, pick One price instead and type one price.
9. Everything below the price is optional. Under The work, add Checklist steps your technician sees on every job.
10. Under Supplies used each visit, tap Add from inventory or Add a custom item. Utopia then shows what you keep from each price, like "You keep 95% ($253)".
11. Under Where it's offered, turn on Online booking, Quotes and Jobs where you want the service to show.
12. Tap Create service.

Prices you set on each quote

Some work, like paint correction, needs a look first. Turn on Price on request (you quote it). The prices you typed become starting prices, and you set the real price on each quote.

Add many services at once

Tap the three-dot button next to New service, then Import services. Tap Download template, fill it in, then tap Choose CSV to upload it.

Didn't work?

It says "Add at least one vehicle size with a price"

Each size needs a name and a price. Fill in the empty row or remove it. You can also switch to One price.

Customers can't see the service when they book

Edit the service and check that Online booking is on under Where it's offered. Also check that online booking is turned on.

A service shows "Needs a price"

Open it and tap Add a price, or turn on Price on request.
