Change your language
Switch Utopia's menus and buttons to English, Spanish or Portuguese, just for you.
Utopia speaks English, Spanish and Portuguese. Your choice changes the menus and buttons for you only. Your teammates keep their own language.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Workspace preferences.
- Scroll down to Layout.
- Tap the box next to Language.
- Pick English, Español or Português. Each language is written in its own words, so you can find yours.
- Tap Save preferences at the bottom.
The page switches right away. You don't need to reload.
On a phone, tap More → Settings first.
What changes and what doesn't
- Menus, buttons and messages in Utopia change to your language.
- Things you or your customers typed do not change. Customer names, service names, notes and form questions stay as written.
- Money stays in US dollars.
- Some parts may still show in English, like emails Utopia sends and EDEN.
Your customers' language
Your booking page, quotes and invoices use each customer's own phone or browser language when it is English, Spanish or Portuguese. You don't need to set anything.
Didn't work?
I picked a language but nothing changed
Make sure you tapped Save preferences. The language changes only after you save.
It went back to English on my other phone
Open Settings → Workspace preferences on that device and pick your language again, then tap Save preferences.
I picked the wrong language and can't read the menu
The language list always shows each language in its own words. Look for English, then tap the save button at the bottom of the page.
