Choose which emails you get
Turn Utopia's notification emails on or off for jobs, customers and payments. Every notice also shows in the app.
Utopia can email you when something happens in your business. You choose which emails you get. Each person on your team picks their own, and nobody else sees your choice.
Steps
- Go to Settings → General.
- Stay on Notifications and find Email me when.
- Turn a switch on or off. It saves right away.
Emails go to the address you sign in with. On a phone, tap More → Settings first.
What each switch is for
- A job is assigned to me and One of my jobs changes status: for jobs assigned to you.
- A job is completed, A customer is added and An invoice is paid: these go to owners, admins and managers.
Everything else, like quote approvals, new leads, reviews and texts from customers, shows in Activity on Home. Every email you get shows there too.
Didn't work?
I turned an email off but still got one
Each switch changes only the email on its row. A text from a customer still emails the people on your team who can see customer details.
I don't see any switches
The sample business doesn't send emails, so it shows a note instead. Sign in to your own business to choose.
I want alerts on my phone
Utopia sends notices by email and shows them in Activity on Home. Turn on the emails you want, then turn on email alerts in your phone's mail app.
