Make a QR code for your truck or business cards

Make a QR code that opens your booking page, a form or any link, print it, and change where it goes later without reprinting.

A QR code is a square picture people scan with their phone camera. Utopia's codes can change where they go later, even after you print them, so you never have to reprint your truck or cards.

Before you start

  • Owners, admins and people allowed to manage business settings can make and edit codes. Everyone else can open and download them.
  • A code must open an honest page. Phishing or deceptive destinations break the Terms.

Steps

  1. Go to Marketing → QR codes. On your phone, tap More, then QR codes under Marketing.
  2. Tap New QR code.
  3. Type a Name that says where you'll print it, like Truck or Business cards.
  4. Under Where it goes, pick Booking page, A form or Any link. For Any link, type a web address that starts with https://.
  5. Tap Make QR code. The new code opens on the side of the screen.
  6. Tap Download PNG to get a picture that is sharp enough to print. If your sign shop asks for a file that can grow to any size, tap Download SVG.
  7. Send the file to your printer or sign shop.

Codes open a short q.utopiaos.app address. Older printed codes keep working.

Your booking page also has a ready-made code. You'll find it in Marketing → Website buttons and links.

Change where a code goes

  1. Open the code from the list.
  2. Tap Edit.
  3. Pick a new place under Where it goes, then tap Save.

Every printed copy goes to the new place right away, and Utopia reminds you of that before you save: people who already scanned or printed the code go to the new page. You don't need to reprint.

See how many people scanned

The list shows Scans and Last scan for each code. Open a code to see a chart of Scans in the last 30 days.

Didn't work?

I don't see the New QR code button

Only owners, admins and people allowed to manage business settings can make codes. Ask an owner to make it, or to change your role.

I can't pick my form

Only live forms show in the list. Open the form and tap Publish first. See Make a form for your website.

People scan it and see "This code is no longer active"

The code was archived. Change Show to Archived, open the code, and tap Restore.

Utopia says my booking page needs a web address first

Your business doesn't have a booking link yet. Go to Settings → Online booking and check that a Booking link shows there. If it doesn't, talk to a person.
