Make a form for your website

Build a form that catches new customers from your website, ads or texts, and sends every answer straight into Utopia.

A form lets people ask you for a quote or a call from your website. Every answer comes into Utopia, and new people are added to your customers as leads (people who asked about your work but haven't booked yet).

Steps

  1. Go to Marketing → Forms. On your phone, tap More, then Forms under Marketing.
  2. Tap New form.
  3. Pick a ready-made form, like Get a quote or Contact us. Or pick Blank form to start empty. The form opens in the builder as a draft.
  4. On the Build tab, tap a question on the form to change its words. To add a question, tap one from the list on the left. On a phone, tap Add field.
  5. Tap Try it to fill in the form yourself. Nothing is sent while you test.
  6. Open Style to change the colors and the look.
  7. Open Settings. Check the Name, then choose what happens after someone sends it: Show a thank-you or Go to a page.
  8. Tap Publish. Your form is now live. Only live forms take answers.

Put it on your website

  1. Open the form's Share tab.
  2. Pick On your website to put the form right on a page. Or pick Popup button, Iframe or Link (a web address to send in texts or emails).
  3. Tap the copy button under the code.
  4. Paste it into your website, where you want the form to show. In WordPress, use a Custom HTML block. In Wix or Squarespace, use an Embed code block.

You can also get every form's code from Marketing → Website buttons and links with Get code.

Running ads? Also paste the script line from that code into your site's header, so it runs on every page. Then someone who lands from an ad on one page and fills in the form on another still counts for that ad. Your booking links pass the ad along too.

Didn't work?

My website says the form is not available

The form is still a draft. Open it and tap Publish. Or open Settings, set Status to Live, and tap Save.

My changes don't show on my website

Changes stay in the builder until you save them. Tap Save at the top of the form.

New people aren't showing up in Customers

Open the form's Settings and make sure Create or match the customer is on. Utopia matches people by email first, then phone.

I want to read the answers

Go to Marketing → Forms, open the ⋯ menu on the form, and tap Submissions.
