Set goals for your business

Pick goals like revenue, jobs or new customers, set a target for each week, month, quarter or year, and track them on Home.

Goals show how close you are to what you are aiming for, like $10,000 of money in this month or 20 new customers this quarter. Utopia counts your progress for you from your jobs, invoices and customers.

Before you start

  • Only owners and admins can add or change goals.
  • Goals are shown to people who can see revenue.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Business.
  2. Tap the Goals tab.
  3. Tap Add goal.
  4. Pick what to track, like Money in, Jobs done or New customers. Pick Your own goal to track any number you like.
  5. Pick the Period: Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly or Yearly.
  6. Type the Target.
  7. Add more goals the same way.
  8. Tap Save goals.

You can also get here from Home. Tap Set goals on the Business goal card.

Change the order

Your first goal is the big ring on Home. To change which goal comes first, tap the three-dot button on a goal and tap Move up or Move down. Then tap Save goals.

Your own goal

For Your own goal, type a Name, like Cars ceramic coated. Utopia can't count this one for you, so update Done so far yourself as you go.

See all your goals

Click your business name at the top of the sidebar and choose Achievements. Every goal shows as a ring there.

Didn't work?

It says "You already have this goal for that period"

You can only have one of the same goal for the same period. Change the period, or remove one.

My Google rating goal shows no progress

Review goals need your Google Business Profile connected. See Connect Google reviews.

I can't add a goal

Only people who manage business settings can change goals. Ask the owner of your business.
