What EDEN can do

EDEN is Utopia's AI assistant for your business. Ask it about your jobs, customers, money and schedule, and it reads your own records to answer.

EDEN is Utopia's AI assistant for your business. Ask in plain words, like "Who owes me money?", and EDEN reads your business records to answer. For how-to questions about Utopia, use Ask Utopia under Help instead.

What EDEN can do

  • Answer questions about your jobs, schedule, customers, quotes, invoices, team, prices and numbers.
  • Help you think through pricing and following up with customers.
  • Write drafts for you, like a text script, a checklist or a plan. You decide what to do with them.
  • Look at photos and PDFs you add, like a damage photo or a price list.

What EDEN can't do

EDEN only reads. It can't send texts or emails, charge cards, edit jobs or make new records. When it suggests remembering something, nothing is saved unless you tap Save.

Steps

  1. Tap EDEN at the top of the sidebar. On your phone, it's the first button in the bar at the bottom, with a round colored icon.
  2. Type your question in the box.
  3. To add a photo or PDF, tap the paperclip button next to the box.
  4. Press Enter, or tap the arrow button, to send.
  5. To start fresh, tap New chat. Your old chats stay in the list on the left.

On Home, you can also press ⌘J (Mac) / Ctrl J (Windows) to open Ask EDEN without leaving the page.

Who can use it

The business owner chats with EDEN. Your business also needs EDEN on its plan; see Get EDEN for your business. EDEN sees only what your role can see. To check, go to Settings → EDEN → What EDEN can see.

Didn't work?

The box says to sign in as the business owner

Only the business owner can chat with EDEN. Ask the owner to look it up for you.

EDEN says it isn't part of this plan yet

Your business needs to add EDEN. See Get EDEN for your business.

It says I've used all of this month's EDEN credits

Each answer uses credits. They reset every month. To get more now, tap Add EDEN or Upgrade above the box. See how many you've used in Settings → EDEN → Usage.

EDEN says it couldn't read something

That part of your records wasn't available just then. Try again in a minute. If it keeps happening, talk to a person.
